| Okra
Okra does well in fertile soil. As a warm season plant that requires a fairly long growing period, it is planted as early as weather conditions permit. Sow in 3 foot rows, spacing the seeds about 5 inches apart. As the plants become established to a height of 5", they should be thinned to around 14" or 18" apart in the row. One half ounce sows a 100 ft. row and 8 lbs. are required for an acre. |
