Sesame Seed (Benne)
	Plant 6 to 10 lbs. per acre. Cover seed no more than 1" deep. Maturity 120 days. Add 4 weeks for pods to open and dry releasing seeds. Best time to plant is May 15th in Georgia. It will grow upright on a thick stalk 8 to 12 feet tall with long slender seed pods that shatter when mature, making excellent quail feed. It will provide thick cover for quail and will stand up in winter flood conditions for ducks. It will thrive in almost any soil type but prefers moist, fertile conditions.
