Yield Booster Blossom End Rot Spray
yield_booster.jpg
Symptoms:
Blossom end rot can affect fruit at all stages of development. The characteristic symptom is a progressive deterioration of the blossom end of the fruit, from a water-soaked appearance to a sunken, black, leathery lesion. While secondary fungal infections may occur, blossom end rot is a physiological disorder caused by calcium deficiency induced by water stress.
Control:
Careful water management practices are a key. Irrigation and/or mulching are important. Application of lime or calcium prior to planting may help. Liquid fertilization using calcium nitrate can be used for small plots.

Mix 2 Tablespoons per one gallon of spray.

Stop Blossom-End Rot of Tomatoes
Blossom-end rot of tomatoes is a common problem encountered by the home gardener. It can be recognized by the dark grey black sunken area on the blossom-end (bottom) of the fruit. This area may be small or cover almost half the fruit. When large, the sunken area appears flat. This problem is caused primarily by calcium deficency in the fruit. I future crops it may be reduced by proper liming of the soil. But, on a crop already in progress, the plant must be supplied with calcium very rapidly to correct the problem. This can be done with SA-50 Brand Blossom-End Rot of Tomatoes.

Instuctions: Apply SA-50 Brand Stop Blossom-End Rot of Tomatoes as a spray using 2 tablespoonfuls (1 fluid ounce) per gallon of water. Apply as a thorough cover spray to foliage and fruit. Use at weekly intervals for at least 3 sprays. This material may be added to regular sprays for insects and disease and is compatible with materials such as Malathion, Diazinon, Sevin, Dithane, and Neutral Copper. Do not use greater than the recommended rate or injury to the plant may result

Use 2 tablespoons (1 fl. oz.) per gallon of water.

Wettable Sulphur

Wettable Sulphur

Sulphur

Fungicide / Insecticide Preparation used in Organic Gardening

Sulphur is used in Organic Gardening for the control of mites including red spider, blister mite and citrus bud mite, fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, rust and brown rot, spot diseases of fruit and scale. It can also be used in higher doses on deciduous trees in winter for the eradication of various insect eggs.

It is obtainable as a combination lime/sulphur spray (this being more effective than plain sulphur), dusting sulphur (flowers of sulphur), or wettable sulphur, and has an exceptionally low toxicity level. Wettable sulphur is compatible with nicotine sulphate and the two can be successfully used as a dual purpose spray.

Sulphur preparations need to be applied to both the top and undersurface of leaves. For this reason, when using dusting sulphur, first spray both sides of the leaves with slightly soapy water to ensure adequate adhesion. DO NOT USE in temperatures above 30°C / 86°F.

Can Also Be Used On Centipede Lawns For Rust.
